- Bids are being solicited by Cherokee Nation Cultural & Economic Development, L.L.C. (“Company”) or the Cultural & Economic Development. wholly-owned entity identified in the attached Statement of Work to furnish pricing for 2 new signs at the location. . THERE IS A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING ON JULY 30TH, 2024 AT 11AM. Bids are due on August 6TH , 2024 by 5pm Due to COVID-19 all bids shall be submitted by email using the following email address Cultura.rw3yfpxzyjzhhahi@u.box.com. Proposals shall be submitted to this email address only, please do not copy the buyer on submittal. If you copy the buyer on submittal, it can be grounds for disqualification. General Notes: Contractor shall visit the site to determine the extent of work and field verify project conditions. Contractor shall be responsible for damage to all structures, landscaping, paving and any other items located within and outside the work area. Any damage to permanent items incurred by the contractor through his work in this contract shall be repaired to original condition, by the contractor at his own expense. As noted on plans, field locate existing utilities prior to beginning any work. Contractor to coordinate project access and on-site staging and material storage areas with owner prior to start of construction. Demo: Demolish and remove items as shown on plans L 1.00 from the site signage drawings from Alaback Design dated 5/30/24. Coordinate as needed with owner. Notify Cultural Tourism personnel in the office building prior to beginning work. As shown on plan, remove the existing concrete slab (10 x10) and any gravel subbase that may be present. Remove ground concrete footing in the southeast corner of the slab where a flagpole has been removed. Remove the existing metal sign frame (6 x 6), remove the existing light fixture in the slab. (Provide a junction box at the existing electrical supply line, stubbed above ground so that the power supply can be used for the new signage lighting. Legally dispose of all the demolished materials off site. After all demo has been completed, add topsoil as needed to bring the demolition site up to match adjacent grades. Signage: Contractor to provide 2 new signs per finish and specifications on Alaback Design drawing L1.00 dated 5/30/24. The 2 new signs are aluminum framed signs with a masonry base. (see drawing sht. L1.00 for details.). For each sign location, the masonry bases, footings (designed by Sign Fabricator), and signage panels are to be installed by the Signage Fabrication Company. Layout signs in field per plans. Receive prior approval from owner for final signage locations and orientation before beginning installation of work. Lettering details and font design on signs see Drawing Elevation C on drawing sht. L1.00. Masonry: Stone Masonry base to match Cultural Pathway. Cultural Stone – www.impressionsinstone.Biz Stone Style: Hackett. Color: Los Lagos Electrical: Contractor to remove the existing light fixture in the slab. (Provide a junction box at the existing electrical supply line, stubbed above ground so that the power supply can be used for the new signage lighting.
