Cherokee Nation Businesses is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide labor, materials, and equipment needed for the demolition of existing structure and the construction of a new wood framed building that will serve as an IT/Surveillance room with attached storage and chicken coop at the Will Rogers Birthplace property in Oologah, Oklahoma. The work will consist of: • Demolition of the existing chicken coop/fire/storage building • Construction of a new wood framed building and foundation/slab • Contractor is to provide all labor and equipment necessary to demo and haul off existing chicken coop/fire room. • Contractor is to provide all labor and materials necessary to construct the new coop/IT and Surveillance/Storage building per drawings provided by CJC and Starr Design. • Contractor is to coordinate all IT and Surveillance items with Owner and submit proposed equipment for approval. • Contractor is responsible for all utility locates. • All utility disconnections/re-connections to be handled by Contractor if applicable. • Contractor is to provide adequate protection to surrounding buildings and existing utilities. • All concrete to be 3500 psi strength. • Contractor responsible for termite pre-treat. • Contractor is to re-sod areas disturbed by construction activities upon completion. We would also like to have some add alternates listed below: Add Alternate #1- Install Hardie siding on the exterior walls in lieu of plywood. Add Alternate #2- Omit Quazite junction box outside of structure and install raceway enclosure inside for a secure pathway. Selected firm will work with Cherokee Nation Businesses Corporate Construction and Cherokee Nation Culture Tourism on access or concerns as necessary. Fees The fee is to be a lump sum cost. The cost is to be all inclusive and is to be broken down into Labor and Materials.
